Iran has sent its conditions for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz to the United States.
Modern.az reports with reference to "Tasnim" that this was stated by Mohsen Rezaei, the new military adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader.
According to him, Tehran demands a cessation of military operations, unblocking of Iranian assets, as well as an end to wars in the region, including Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
"The strait will not be opened until the US changes its position and accepts Iran's conditions," Rezaei said.
He also emphasized that the agreement between Iran and Oman on the Strait of Hormuz will not have any impact on the issue of opening the waterway.
