Iran's permanent representative to the UN, Amir Saeed Iravani, sent letters to the UN and the Security Council, stating that the US used the territory and airspace of several Persian Gulf countries to prepare and carry out attacks against Iran.
Modern.az reports that Iravani stated in the letters that these countries include Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
Iran also stated that there have been direct violations of airspace by using military aircraft and drones when striking targets on the islands in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf of the UAE.
Tehran called on these countries to adhere to the principles of good neighborliness and prevent the use of their territories against Iran, and held them responsible for any consequences.
