A telephone conversation took place between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and the European Union's (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.
Modern.az reports that the Iranian Foreign Minister shared information about the conversation.
According to the diplomat, he and Kallas discussed recent developments in the region and on the international political scene. He noted that additional information would be provided later.
It should be recalled that on April 29, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen expressed her conviction that EU member states would be forced to deal with the consequences of the conflict between the US and Iran for years. She called this event a "harsh reality" that everyone would have to face.
Von der Leyen emphasized that peace and stability in the region must be restored through diplomacy.
