German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will not visit Armenia.

Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that he will not attend the summit of the European Political Community to be held in Yerevan.

"Friedrich Merz cannot travel due to other commitments," a German government spokesman said in response to a query from DPA news agency.

It has not yet been decided who will replace him.
