Iranians have created a new institution - the Persian Gulf Strait Authority - that will regulate the passage of military or commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
Modern.az reports that "Al Jazeera"'s correspondent for Iran shared this information.
According to the information, any commercial or military ship wishing to pass through the Strait of Hormuz must have full coordination with the Iranian armed forces.
They must send an email regarding the passage, and then the Iranian authorities will review and investigate it. After clarification and security clearance, ships will be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
It was noted that, in addition, the Iranian side is talking about a permanent change in the status of the strait and announced that they will not give it up.
