Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz stated that the burning of the Turkish flag in Yerevan is a cause for concern.
Modern.az reports that he spoke about this in a statement to journalists after returning to Turkey.
Cevdet Yılmaz noted that during his recent visit to Yerevan, he repeatedly raised this issue in his meetings with the Armenian side.
According to him, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed a negative attitude towards the incident, and the country's president called the incident unacceptable.
“There were those in Armenia who condemned what happened, and those who rejoiced,” Yılmaz emphasized.
It should be recalled that on April 23, the Turkish flag was burned during a torchlight procession in Yerevan. The incident was also strongly condemned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
