US Energy Secretary Chris Wright has admitted to mistakenly firing key nuclear safety experts.
Modern.az reports that "RIA Novosti" disseminated this information.
"This is entirely my fault. In my first week in office, the phrase "temporary employees" came up. I misunderstood it, and that is entirely my mistake," the minister said.
According to him, these individuals were personnel who had worked in the ministry for many years but were appointed to new positions. Wright added that in the end, all specialists except two were reinstated to their jobs.
