The Israel Defense Forces are expanding military operations in southern Lebanon and taking control of strategic areas.
Modern.az reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated this at a meeting of the security cabinet.
“In accordance with my instructions, we are expanding the operation in Lebanon. The Israeli army is operating in the area with large forces and seizing strategic regions. We are strengthening the security zone to protect settlements in northern Israel,” Netanyahu said.
