Former South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that a Seoul court stated the former leader deliberately sent drones to North Korea with the aim of creating provocation and using it as an excuse to impose martial law.

This verdict will be in addition to the life sentence previously imposed for an attempted coup. The politician's defense continues to claim his innocence, calling the drone incident a "necessary security measure."
