The Deputy Coordinator of the Air Force of the Iranian Army has revealed new information about how the strikes on US military bases were carried out.
Modern.az reports that he stated that during the operation, Iranian pilots did not use GPS and inertial navigation systems (INS).
According to him, the pilots navigated only with maps and the simplest navigation tools. No signals, including radio communication, were transmitted during the operation.
The Iranian military official claimed that the absence of electromagnetic signal transmission allowed the operation to be carried out secretly.
"The other side did not expect the Air Force to dare such an operation," he said.
