Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and five other Muslim countries have condemned Israel's operations in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, calling on the UN Security Council to take action.

The joint statement was signed by the foreign ministers of Qatar, Jordan, UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
The document states that Israel's ongoing operations in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank weaken the ceasefire agreement reached in Gaza and seriously endanger the prospect of a two-state solution.
The ministers called on the UN Security Council to compel Israel to fulfill its international obligations and to ensure that those responsible for violations of international law, as well as international humanitarian law, are held accountable.
The statement strongly rejects any attempt aimed at annexing Palestinian territories, as well as plans for the forced displacement of Palestinians.
The authors of the document emphasized that these steps are contrary to international law and pose a serious threat to the security and stability of the region.
The statement was issued against the background of Israel's continued military operations in the Gaza Strip and the delay in moving to the next phase of the implementation of the ceasefire agreement.
