US President Donald Trump is inclined to support Vice President JD Vance in the 2028 presidential election.

Modern.az reports that "The Washington Post" published this information, citing large donors of the Republican Party.

According to the publication, Trump stated in closed meetings that he wants to see JD Vance as the winner of the 2028 presidential election.

However, sources note that Trump has not yet made a final decision regarding his successor and maintains competition between Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

According to information, Trump has not recently asked the question "JD, or Marco?" as often as before. He stated that he thinks Vance "deserves" this support.
