The Iranian Armed Forces have threatened to strike Israel if it continues to violate the ceasefire regime in Lebanon.
Modern.az reports that a statement to this effect was published on the official Telegram channel of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC):
“We warn: if the army of the Zionist regime does not stop its aggressive actions in southern Lebanon, a very harsh response awaits it. Tel Aviv has violated the ceasefire regime in southern Lebanon 84 times in the last two days.”
It should be noted that the Israeli side was seriously dissatisfied with the recent peace agreement reached between the US and Iran. According to sources of “The New York Times” newspaper, the point that caused Tel Aviv's particular anger is that the agreement, instead of “creating conditions for the collapse of the regime” in Iran, paved the way for the return of billions of funds to the treasury of the Islamic Republic.
