The agreement with Lebanon and Israel is an unprecedented step.

Modern.az reports that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said these words during his speech at the Cabinet meeting.

He stated that this is the first time the Israeli and Lebanese governments have negotiated at an official level in approximately 30 years. Rubio said that the disarmament agreement with Hamas, announced yesterday, is another big step.

“This is something many people thought would never happen,” Rubio added.
