The adoption of a bill in the US Congress that envisages new sanctions against Russia is likely to be delayed.
Modern.az reports that lawmakers are concerned that the bill would give US President Donald Trump broad tariff-making powers.
Democrats and some Republicans, in particular, believe that these powers could lead to new trade restrictions and economic risks.
Democrats called the bill "a recipe for chaos and higher tariffs," saying it could accelerate inflation in the US.
It should be noted that earlier it was reported that no agreement was reached in the US Senate on the adoption of a new package of sanctions against Russia.
