Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi ordered all government agencies to start work at 10:00 AM on June 17 in connection with the football match between Iraq and Norway within the framework of the 2026 World Cup.

Modern.az reports that this was stated in the information released by the Cabinet of Ministers.

"According to the order of Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi, work in all government agencies will start at 10:00 AM on June 17. The goal is to create conditions for all citizens to support the Iraqi national football team in the World Cup," the statement said.
