Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting on fuel supply for the domestic market.
Modern.az reports that the meeting was attended by Defense Minister Andrey Belousov, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, and heads of energy companies, including Igor Sechin, Alexey Miller, and Vahid Alakbarov.
Putin stated that the consequences of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' terrorist attacks on civilian targets must be minimized.
According to him, Russia's largest oil refineries are operating at maximum capacity.
The Russian president also emphasized that additional measures should be considered to ensure a stable fuel supply for the domestic market.
"Previously accumulated fuel volumes have been delivered to the Russian domestic market. Russia has started using fuel reserves, but gasoline reserves remain at last year's level. This amounts to 1.7 million tons. In July, primary fuel production should exceed June levels. Private fuel companies are proving to be reliable partners for the state in the current situation," Putin said.
