Washington has a strategy regarding Iran.
Modern.az reports that US President Donald Trump stated this.
According to him, the current policy implemented by the US is to wait for the situation in Iran to worsen further:
"We have three strategies regarding Iran. We can continue our work now - we just want to watch the course of events and see how their situation deteriorates. Because inflation there is 300 percent. Their currency has almost no value. They don't pay their soldiers. Their soldiers are leaving the army. Therefore, it is necessary to simply continue the current course. Economically, they are in a completely dire situation. They cannot borrow. We control their money, and they had a lot of money. I am their banker."
