Technical-level talks between the US and Iran on the nuclear program are ongoing.
Modern.az reports that US Permanent Representative to the UN Mike Waltz stated this in an interview with “Fox News” television channel.
According to him, the discussions mainly cover other technical issues aimed at allowing inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency to enter Iran, reducing the level of uranium enrichment, and preventing the acquisition of nuclear weapons.
Waltz noted that US President Donald Trump prefers a diplomatic solution. At the same time, he emphasized that Washington's patience is not limited and the administration continues to consider all possible options to influence Tehran.
