Armenian companies exporting products to European Union countries and cargo carriers report facing serious problems.

Modern.az reports, citing Armenian media, that "Joghovurd" newspaper wrote that Armenian exporters and carriers face bureaucratic obstacles and slow customs procedures when transporting goods to Europe.

According to the information, goods sent to European countries are subjected to long-term inspections, trucks are sealed and have to wait for days at customs terminals. This negatively affects the quality of agricultural products, especially perishable ones.

According to the publication's source, delays create additional financial losses for entrepreneurs and complicate the export process.

It is noted that the volume of exports to the European market cannot be compared with the products sent to the Russian market. For this reason, Armenian exporters state that the difficulties in the European direction seriously affect their activities.
