German Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil expressed his dissatisfaction with the participation of Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov in the G20 meeting.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that Klingbeil said that the Russian finance minister should not be accepted as an ordinary guest at the G20. According to him, Russia has been waging a war against Ukraine for five years, contrary to international law, and in such a situation, relations with Moscow should not be normalized.
The German minister stated that since Siluanov was already in the hall, he used the opportunity to convey his political position to him.
"I absolutely do not see any normalization of the situation or de-escalation here," Klingbeil emphasized.
