Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan stated during his speech at the first session of the 9th convocation of the National Assembly that citizens expect mature and responsible politics from the new parliament.
Modern.az reports that the president emphasized that the parliament's activity will be evaluated not only by the number of laws adopted, but also by their quality, their impact on society, and their contribution to the country's development.
According to him, citizens expect responsible legislative activity from the parliament and discussions based on the country's interests, not political confrontation.
"We need a political culture where disagreement does not turn into intolerance, and principledness does not exclude mutual respect," said Vahagn Khachaturyan.
