The leaders and secretaries of all three factions of the 9th convocation of the National Assembly of Armenia have been elected.
Modern.az reports that this was announced from the rostrum at the first meeting of the new parliament.
Aresyak Manavazyan was elected as the head of the parliamentary faction of the ruling “Civil Contract” party, and Volodya Akopyan was appointed as the secretary. Narek Karapetyan will lead the parliamentary faction of the opposition “Strong Armenia” bloc. Tigran Abramyan became the secretary of the faction.
Anna Grigoryan was elected as the head of the parliamentary faction of the opposition “Armenia” bloc, and Artur Khachatryan as the secretary.
It should be noted that in the 9th convocation of the National Assembly, the “Civil Contract” party has 64 deputy mandates, the “Strong Armenia” bloc has 29, and the “Armenia” bloc has 12 mandates.
