Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed the peace process between Yerevan and Baku and the prospects of opening regional communications with the ambassadors of Arab countries accredited in the country.

Pashinyan emphasized the importance of deepening and developing relations with Arab countries. He stated that the Armenian authorities are interested in new initiatives related to the development of political and economic ties.
The Prime Minister also noted the long-term historical and cultural ties between Armenia and the Arab world.
During the meeting, the agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington on August 8, 2025, as well as the steps to be taken towards unblocking infrastructure in the region, were discussed.
The parties also touched upon the issue of implementing the TRIPP project.
In addition, issues related to the preparation for the COP17 climate summit to be held in Yerevan on October 18-30 were discussed at the meeting.
