The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) has announced the names of the tallest and shortest players in the World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Mexico and Canada from June 11 to July 19.
Modern.az reports that the tallest player is 25-year-old Florian Wiegele, the goalkeeper of the Austrian national team and the Czech club "Viktoria Plzen". His height is 205 cm.
The shortest player is 30-year-old Cesar Yanis, the midfielder of the Panama national team and the Chilean club "Cobresal". His height is 160 cm.
Austria will face Argentina, Algeria and Jordan in the group stage, while Panama will face England, Croatia and Ghana.
