Modern.az reports that clashes erupted between angry and disappointed fans and police officers.
According to images and information circulating on social media, vehicles and some infrastructure were damaged during the clashes.
It should be noted that the French team lost its chance for the championship after being defeated by Spain in the World Cup semi-finals held tonight. Spain's opponent in the final will be the winner of the Argentina - England match. The match will be held today at 23:00.
