The volume of public catering turnover in the districts and cities of Azerbaijan for 2025 has been announced.
Modern.az reports that the total turnover in this sector across the country amounted to 28 billion 85 million 512 thousand manats.
According to the presented statistics, Baku city leads in terms of catering turnover with an indicator of 2 billion 32 million 999 thousand manats. Sumgayit city ranks second with 62 million 765 thousand manats, and Ganja city ranks third with 56 million 573 thousand manats. In the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, catering turnover amounted to 53 million 717 thousand manats, in Gabala district 32 million 499 thousand manats, and in Khachmaz district 32 million 219 thousand manats.
Looking at the continuation of the ranking, it is reported that Barda district had a catering turnover of 29 million 200 thousand manats, Lankaran district 28 million 156 thousand manats, Absheron district 26 million 250 thousand manats, and Shamakhi district 21 million 935 thousand manats.
In these regions where economic indicators are minimal, the revenues of the catering sector are significantly lower compared to other districts.
In the list compiled without considering the liberated territories, the lowest indicator belongs to Aghstafa district; here, catering turnover amounted to 4 million 542 thousand manats. According to the sequence, a turnover of 4 million 386 thousand manats was recorded in Yardimli district, 4 million 235 thousand manats in Tartar district, 3 million 573 thousand manats in Oghuz district, 3 million 525 thousand manats in Zardab district, 3 million 215 thousand manats in Gobustan district, 3 million 66 thousand manats in Khizi district, 2 million 654 thousand manats in Lerik district, and 2 million 490 thousand manats in Siyazan district.
For information, the figures are even lower in the liberated districts where catering turnover is the lowest: 1 million 271 thousand manats in Khankendi city, 788 thousand manats in Dashkasan district, 725 thousand manats in Lachin district, 173 thousand manats in Fuzuli district, 166 thousand manats in Kalbajar district, and the volume of catering turnover in Aghdam district amounted to only 66 thousand manats.
