New chairman to be elected to Filmmakers' Union on this date

The date for the congress to elect a new chairman for the Azerbaijan Filmmakers' Union has been announced.

Modern.az reports that at today's meeting of the board, a decision was made to hold the congress on May 26.

The venue for the congress is not yet known.

It should be recalled that Rasim Balayev, chairman of the Azerbaijan Filmmakers' Union, passed away on March 29. (APA)
