Theft incidents have occurred in the Narimanov district of the capital. The victim reported to the police that gold jewelry and 540 manats in cash were stolen from the rented house where they lived.
Modern.az reports that 41-year-old M. Allahverdiyev, suspected of committing the act, was identified and detained by police officers. Investigations revealed that he entered one of the residential buildings during the night, checked the doors of apartments one by one, and committed the theft after ensuring that the victim was not at home.
As a result of another operation carried out in the district, 22-year-old Z. Abbasov, suspected of stealing repair and construction tools worth 490 manats, was also detained.
Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
