Eid prayers were held in mosques in connection with Eid al-Adha. Allahshukur Pashazade, chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, also attended the Eid prayer held at Tezepir Mosque.
Modern.az reports that after the Eid prayer, Allahshukur Pashazade also made statements to journalists.
The Sheikh of all Caucasus noted that Azerbaijani pilgrims have already visited Mina, Arafat and received the title of Hajj:
"Today, sacrifices will be made there. As every year, this year too, sacrifices will be made in the holy lands in the name of national leader Heydar Aliyev and martyrs."
