Yesterday, Russia carried out a missile and drone attack on the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine. During the incident, 23-year-old Fatima Huseynova, a sixth-year student at Kharkiv Medical University, lost her life.
Galib Osmanli, press secretary of the United Diaspora of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine, told Modern.az that Fatima Huseynova, who lost her life, had returned to Azerbaijan 4 years ago and went to the university to sign her documents.
"Fatima Huseynova returned to Azerbaijan after the war started, while she was studying in her second year at the university. In subsequent years, she continued her education online and successfully passed all her exams.
After completing her final year at the university, she went back to Kharkiv about a month ago to complete the required procedures for graduation, including signing documents. During this time, the student stayed with her relatives and left home for the last time to go to the university. Fatima Huseynova separated from her classmate after completing her work at the university. Shortly after, she tragically lost her life during a drone attack on the city," he said.
G. Osmanli added that Fatima Huseynova's p will be brought to her homeland in the coming days:
"Currently, relevant work is being carried out by her relatives and the Azerbaijani consulate in Ukraine to bring the deceased's p to Azerbaijan. Fatima Huseynova's p will be brought to her homeland in the coming days."
