US President Donald Trump said that talks with Iran are progressing successfully and the results could be known within the next 48 hours.
Modern.az reports that Trump spoke about this in a statement to journalists.
According to him, talks with Tehran continue in a positive vein and clarity regarding the final result may emerge within the next two days.
It should be recalled that Trump had previously announced that he had not set a deadline for Iran to reach an agreement on the nuclear deal.
Earlier, Axios reported that the US, Iran and Oman were close to reaching an interim agreement that would provide for the resumption of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
