It was stated that changing the Constitution in Armenia primarily serves the country's own interests.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Taron Chakhoyan, a deputy from the ruling "Civil Contract" Party.
According to the deputy, amending the Constitution is primarily necessary for Armenia.
"The Karabakh issue is de facto closed for Armenia, but de jure it is not yet closed," Chakhoyan said.
In his opinion, for this reason, it is important to adapt the country's legal framework to existing realities.
