Melania Arutyunyan, press secretary of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, announced that Kristina Grigoryan, head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, had arrived in Baku. She noted that K. Grigoryan will participate in the IV Baku Security Forum held in Baku. It was also added that she arrived in Baku in the morning and will return to Yerevan in the evening.

Kristina Grigoryan was born in Sevan in 1981. She worked in state bodies for more than 12 years - in the apparatus of the Armenian parliament, the Ministry of Justice, and the apparatus of the first deputy prime minister.
Kristina, who worked as a national expert on human rights in the Council of Europe in 2016-2017, was appointed deputy minister of justice of Armenia in July 2019, and first deputy minister of justice in April of the same year. K. Grigoryan was elected Ombudsman of Armenia based on the results of the vote held in the parliament on January 24, 2022. After working in this position for one year, she resigned. Kristine Grigoryan was appointed to this post on October 4, 2023, by the order of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
