Armenia does not rule out the possibility of purchasing Azerbaijani gas.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Alen Simonyan.
When asked about the possible supply of Azerbaijani gas to Armenia, Grigoryan stated that his country is ready to buy gas from all possible sources.
“We want to buy gas from everywhere possible. If Russia gives gas, we will buy from Russia, if Azerbaijan gives, we will buy from Azerbaijan, if Iran gives, we will buy from Iran,” he said.
According to Grigoryan, Armenia does not intend to replace dependence on one country with dependence on another. He emphasized that the main approach in energy matters is to maintain alternatives and balance.
