The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran has addressed a notification to citizens wishing to return to the country.
Modern.az reports that the embassy disseminated information about this on its “X” social network account.
“To the attention of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan currently in the Islamic Republic of Iran, due to the cancellation of passenger airplane flights planned from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Azerbaijan! Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who have purchased air tickets to return to Azerbaijan and cannot return to the country due to the cancellation of flights are requested to contact the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran or the Consulate General in Tabriz to facilitate their return through the land border crossing points operating between Azerbaijan and Iran and to ensure their return. Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who have purchased tickets to Azerbaijan from Iranian airlines are advised to contact the sales points of those airlines for ticket refunds.
