Venezuela's Vice President Delcy Rodriguez has been sworn in as the person exercising the powers of the country's president.
Modern.az reports that she was received by the Speaker of Parliament, Jorge Rodriguez.
"I have come here to be sworn in as the Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, under constitutional president Nicolas Maduro Moros. I do this with pain due to the suffering inflicted upon the Venezuelan people by the illegal military aggression against our homeland," she said.
