President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov.
Modern.az reports that the letter states:
"Dear Sadyr Nurgozhoevich,
On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the independence of the fraternal Kyrgyz Republic, I extend my most sincere congratulations and best wishes to you and, through you, to all your people, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.
Today, under your leadership, Kyrgyzstan has achieved significant successes in strengthening statehood, socio-economic progress, and large-scale construction, gaining great prestige in the international arena. As a fraternal country, we rejoice in Kyrgyzstan's successes as much as in our own.
It is gratifying that the relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, bound by traditional ties of friendship and brotherhood, have developed year by year, reaching the level of alliance today and acquiring new substance. My recent state visit to your hospitable country demonstrated the strong partnership resolve of our countries and a broad cooperation agenda, laying the foundation for a new stage in the history of Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan relations.
I am confident that Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan relations and alliance will continue to develop and strengthen along an upward trajectory through our joint efforts, in line with the interests of our peoples.
On this festive day, I wish you robust health, happiness, success in your supreme state activities, and eternal peace and prosperity to the fraternal Kyrgyz Republic."
