Great Britain will allow Ukraine to produce SCALP/Storm Shadow missiles.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that the new Prime Minister of Great Britain, Andy Burnham, announced during his visit to Kyiv that Ukraine will be provided with the necessary confidential information for the production of SCALP/Storm Shadow missiles.
According to Burnham, this information will allow Ukraine to carry out missile production within the country.
It should be noted that French President Emmanuel Macron also made a similar statement earlier about providing technological support to Ukraine for missile production.
This step is of great importance in terms of increasing Ukraine's long-range strike capabilities. SCALP and Storm Shadow missiles are used in Ukraine's arsenal as long-range high-precision strike weapons.
Some comments claim that European countries may try to reduce their responsibility for the origin of missiles given to Ukraine by using this mechanism. However, the announced information that the missiles will be produced specifically in Ukraine does not confirm that all their components will be manufactured within the country.
