According to the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a G1 magnetic storm has started on Earth, and the aurora borealis may be visible in the dark by the end of the day.
Modern.az reports that the Laboratory stated that the strongest impact of the fast solar wind on Earth is expected on Saturday and Sunday, causing a period of unstable geomagnetic conditions.
"As expected, a magnetic storm has started on Earth. The current level is G1: the minimum on a five-point scale," the Laboratory said on its Telegram channel.
Scientists noted that by the end of today, as darkness falls, it will be possible to observe the aurora borealis.
It should be noted that the magnetic storm spreading on Earth is considered a danger to meteosensitive people. During this time, cases such as sudden heart attacks occur among people.
