The houses of Robert Kocharyan, former president of Armenia and leader of the opposition "Armenia" faction, and his son, MP Levon Kocharyan, are being searched.
Modern.az reports that, according to information spread by the Armenian media, law enforcement officers have been conducting operational-search measures in the Kocharyans' houses since the morning.
According to preliminary information, Robert Kocharyan was taken to the National Security Service of Armenia.
Currently, the reasons for the searches and the specific reasons for Kocharyan's transfer to the National Security Service have not been disclosed.
