Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation and discussed key developments in the region.

Modern.az reports with reference to "Tasnim" that in this phone conversation, the Iranian Foreign Minister informed his Turkish counterpart about the latest diplomatic initiatives and efforts made by the Islamic Republic to definitively stop the war.

Abbas Araqchi, referring to the recent adventurous actions of the United States in the Persian Gulf region and the "rude and insulting" statements of some high-ranking American officials, said:

"The recent tension-creating actions of US forces in the Persian Gulf and their repeated violations of the ceasefire have increased doubts about its intentions and seriousness in the path of diplomacy."

The Iranian Foreign Minister stated that the destructive approach of the US side has weakened the diplomatic process and further deepened the Iranian people's distrust of US intentions. He emphasized that stopping the illegal aggressions, excessive and illogical approaches of the other side is important for the advancement of the existing diplomatic process.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, in turn, emphasized the importance of continuing diplomatic efforts to end the war and stated that Turkey supports the ongoing diplomatic process in this direction.
