Berlin has taken note of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's statement that Moscow will strengthen its response to the support provided to Kyiv.

Lavrov stated in an interview with “Vest” TV channel on August 14 that even if Russia does not resort to the methods used by Ukraine, its steps will be tougher from now on.
The Russian minister noted that Moscow will focus on targeting resources that support Ukraine's military potential in response to the West's military assistance to Kyiv.
A representative of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to information cited by the “Welt” newspaper, confirmed that Lavrov's statements were taken into account by Berlin.
