A small private helicopter crashed on the Greek island of Sifnos in the Aegean Sea, killing all 3 people on board.

According to preliminary information, the helicopter caught fire after crashing. The fire was extinguished by local fire brigades.
The helicopter crashed in a residential area shortly after taking off from the airfield in the Tolos region. The identities of the deceased pilot and two passengers have not yet been determined.
The causes of the plane crash are being investigated.
