Modern.az reports that US President's special envoy Jared Kushner said this in an interview with “Fox News” about his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He stated that some weapons could be removed soon and some tunnels could be filled within the next 60-90 days.
Jared Kushner emphasized that they were able to address some fundamental concerns raised during the meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu.
“We are very committed to our plan to rebuild Gaza, but we will not allow Gaza to be rebuilt until demilitarization takes place. No one wants to put more money into a place that will be taken over by terrorists or blown up again. Also, we will not restrict Israel's right to defend itself if there is any threat. Progress can happen very soon, but we need cooperation from both sides,” he said.
