From Monday evening until 05:00 on Tuesday, 620 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) flew towards Moscow.
Modern.az reports that, according to Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, 180 of them were destroyed in the Moscow region.
Andrey Vorobyov, the governor of the Moscow region, stated that one of the UAVs fell on the warehouse of “Wildberries” company in the “Atlant-Park” area in Bogorodsk district of the Moscow region.
According to him, a fire broke out in the warehouse as a result of the incident. The fire has been localized.
The governor announced that three people, including a 10-year-old child, were injured in the Moscow region as a result of the attack.
Yuri Slyusar, the governor of the Rostov region, stated that more than 80 UAVs were destroyed in seven districts of the region.
According to Russian officials, there has not been such a massive UAV attack on Moscow in the last 2 years.
