US President Donald Trump is ready to conclude an agreement with Tehran if Iran renounces the possibility of acquiring nuclear weapons.
Modern.az reports that this was announced by Trump's special representative and son-in-law Jared Kushner.
According to Kushner, Washington's position remains unchanged: Iran should not possess nuclear weapons. He stated that the US administration wants to reach an agreement with Iran, but Tehran is not yet interested in agreeing to terms acceptable to Washington.
According to Kushner, preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons is one of the main priorities for the United States.
However, serious disagreements remain in the negotiations between the parties. US President Donald Trump also stated in his recent statements that an agreement with Iran is possible within the framework of the main conditions put forward by Washington.
