The adoption of the document was supported by 106 parliamentarians, with no votes against. It should be noted that the bill was previously approved by the relevant committee of the parliament.
The document on the dissolution of the Knesset passed its preliminary reading at the end of May. For the bill to enter into full legal force, it must be adopted in three readings within the framework of plenary sessions. According to current legislation, the next parliamentary elections in Israel must take place no later than October 27, 2026.
