Russian President Vladimir Putin may simply "take into account" the results of the elections in Armenia and not send congratulations to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Modern.az reports that the Armenian newspaper "Hraparak" spread information about this, citing its sources.
According to the publication, this step by the Kremlin is considered a direct protest against Pashinyan's recent pro-Western policy.
Voices from various circles in Russia also strengthen this scenario. Thus, the critical opinions expressed by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, Duma deputies, and other officials regarding the elections in Armenia, especially the statements about violations of the law during the voting, indicate that the cold relations on the Moscow-Yerevan line will further deteriorate.
