The Education Student Loan Fund has announced that applications for the fall semester of the 2026-2027 academic year will be open from August 3, 2026, via the e-ttkf.edu.az portal.
This information was provided to Modern.az by the State Agency for Science and Higher Education.
It was stated that students admitted to the master's level of higher education based on the results of the admission competition held by the State Examination Center for the 2026-2027 academic year (applications for newly admitted students at the bachelor's level will open after the specialization selection is completed), as well as students studying in the 2nd and higher courses of higher, secondary specialized and vocational education institutions, can apply for social or standard education student loans by logging into the e-ttkf.edu.az portal from the specified date.
At the same time, students admitted to the master's level of education will be able to apply for an education student loan through the e-ttkf.edu.az portal in parallel with carrying out the student registration process via portal.edu.az.
According to the rules, the following minimum admission indicators have been set to benefit from a standard education student loan for the first semester of the first academic year:
- Sub-bachelor - 110 points, 40 points for specialties requiring special abilities;
- Bachelor's level - 250 points, 100 points for specialties requiring special abilities;
- Master's level - 50 points, 30 points for specialties requiring special abilities;
- For those admitted to higher education institutions based on SAT results - minimum 1200 points;
- For technical vocational and high technical vocational education levels - an arithmetic mean of final grades in relevant subjects in the certificate of at least 3.
It should be noted that minimum admission indicators apply only to standard education student loans. No minimum admission score is envisaged for social education student loans.
At the same time, newly admitted students at the bachelor's level and sub-bachelor for the 2026-2027 academic year will be able to submit their applications for an education student loan through the e-ttkf.edu.az portal in parallel with the registration of the educational institution after completing their specialization selection.
